Taman Safari Indonesia

Taman Safari Indonesia (TSI) is a world-class zoo and titled the best conservation site by Indonesian Ministry of Forestry. The long and rich history of TSI began with the establishment of the Royal Safari Garden Resort Hotel & Convention in 1979 and Taman Safari Indonesia, Cisarua in 1980. Since then, many improvements have been made by TSI. The second park, the Taman Safari Indonesia II in Prigen, Pasuruan opened in 1997; ten years later, the Bali Safari & Marine Park was officially opened for public in 2007 and most recently, 2010 saw the opening of the Batang Dolphins Center. For almost 30 years now, TSI has been the forerunner and leading institution for animal conservation in Indonesia. The extraordinary capability of TSI in managing and preserving domestic and foreign animals has been widely known, resulting in worldwide recognitions and accolades for TSI.
